11 December 2025: Turbine Sunshine Coast Ltd has announced that the Turbine food and beverage pilot project proposed for the Sunshine Coast Industrial Park will not proceed in its originally scoped form.
The Turbine project has been unable to secure sufficient market commitment in order to meet the required project and grant funding milestones. The Board has therefore made the difficult decision to close the project. Turbine will work with the Federal Government to now wrap up the project.
Turbine Chief Executive Officer Mr Andrew Eves-Brown said, “Obviously, this is a disappointing outcome for Turbine and for all of our valued partners and stakeholders. We wish to take the opportunity to sincerely thank everyone involved.”
